Jerkbaits are a comparatively new innovation in UK pike fishing. Pike jerkbaits are much larger
than the standard lure you may be used to but they will generally catch you larger pike! They are fished with a
more jerky action than normal and, given that they are so much bigger than the average lure, you will need to bear
in mind that heavier tackle will be required to cast them and you may even need to consider braid rather than nylon
line.
Jerkbaits come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours, with a variety of different actions
