Sinking lures are perhaps the most commonly used in lure fishing for pike. Sinking lures allow the angler to reach the pike in deeper water and can be particularly useful in reservoirs for this reason.

Sinking lures are best used for pike when the water is colder or deeper and so will be more commonly used in the winter and late autumn. Sinking lures themselves come in all sorts of shapes and sizes with a variety of different actions available too. Predatory fish will be attracted by the acton of the lure and so it is imperative that the retrieve is erratic. We also recommend jointed lures, which can be very effective.

We have brought together a huge range of sinking pike fishing lures at great prices in searchable listings too, so if you cannot see the particular sinking lure or lures that you are looking for, please use the Search field at the bottom of the page.

Please note that our listings of sinking pike lures are regularly updated so do bookmark us and check back from time to time!

We wish you the best of luck finding your sinking lures via our site. We also wish you the very best of luck with your pike fishing and, remember, if you catch a good fish, take a photo and send it to us and we'll post it in our new Photo Gallery!
